Some heroes wear orange

A big shout out from Vector to one of our Omexom New Zealand staff, who saw a bird entangled with fishing line dangling from power lines.

The bird was still alive and in great distress, so our heroic staff jumped into action, freed the bird with care and removed the hook from its beak.

Larry then got the bird to Bird Care Aotearoa in Green Bay, where it made a full recovery to spread its wings and return to the wild.

Just another day in the field but a special chance to show some kindness and make a difference – well done!
