At Omexom New Zealand, we believe that social responsibility  extends beyond the corporate sphere. That’s why our Corporate Social Responsibility Programme seeks out causes and institutions worthy of support that go beyond the norm.

Te Whangi Trust, for example,  drives environmental and social reforms.  In addition to replanting of native plants, they  support, train and advocate for people who find it challenging to enter the labour market.

Our employees are active in our fundraising commitments which is something that we encourage and take pride in.

The partnerships with primary schools Panama Road and Onepoto in Auckland, Fairfield in Hamilton, Takaro in Palmerston North, Halfway Bush in Dunedin and New River in Invercargill are particularly valued by the schools, students, parents and our local staff.

As well as contributing school supplies and uniforms, and the sponsorship of prizegiving awards and Christmas shows at all six schools, our employees regularly volunteer their time to get involved in a variety of sports, cultural and nutritional activities throughout the year.

Omexom New Zealand also  participates in One NZ’s digital equity programme where we recycle our end-of-business-life laptops, and gift them to students and their families who otherwise would not be able to purchase digital devices for school. One NZ then supplies digital connections to students and their families, so these tamariki enjoy access to the internet and will not miss out on educational opportunities.
