Long Bay Beach clean-up – Take Two!
After our first clean-up was rained out on in April thanks to ex-Cyclone Tam, Omexom New Zealand DSP’s Maintenance and Asset Replacement Teams finally made it to Long Bay, and it was worth the wait!
We partnered up with Sustainable Coastlines, spending the day clearing debris and rubbish from the beach. The weather was on our side this time, and the team really got stuck in.
We collected 2,850 litres of rubbish, weighing a total of 160 kg in weight! A huge thank you to everyone who came along awesome teamwork and a great outcome for the environment!
