Omexom brings Power Challenge to partner school

In August and September, CSR partner Panama Road School was abuzz with excitement as Omexom New Zealand and students embarked on a journey through The Wonder Project’s Power Challenge — a hands-on STEM initiative run by Engineering New Zealand and of which Omexom is a sponsor.

The Wonder Project aims to inspire young Kiwis to embrace science, technology, engineering, and maths by connecting them with real-world challenges and passionate industry ambassadors.

The Power Challenge introduces students to the world of renewable energy, focusing on how electricity is generated and used.

Through fun, interactive sessions, students explore the science behind power and get to build their own energy solutions!
