Omexom digs in at SOSSI tree planting

On the 7th and 21st of June, we had a total of nine and three Omexom New Zealand staff, respectively, attend the tree-planting events organised by SOSSI (Shakespear Open Sanctuary Society Inc).

SOSSI is a registered incorporated charity with the purpose of introducing native forest, then filling it with native birds and animals at the end of the Whangaparaoa Peninsula, that can be enjoyed by the general public.

SOSSI is one of 11 charities that the VINCI NZ Foundation is currently supporting across New Zealand.

Staff who attended even brought family members to share the special event with them. The feedback from the team has been extremely positive, with staff enjoying the day and feeling they made a difference for the environment.

The VINCI NZ Foundation is not only about giving money, but also rolling up our sleeves to support and help our charities. For over two years now, staff at Omexom have been involved with the SOSSI tree planting events.
