Omexom teams serve up warm meals for families at RMHC

As part of our annual drive to support the community, Omexom New Zealand once again participated in the Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) NZ Dinner Programme.

RMHC provides a “home away from home” for families who need to travel to be near their child receiving hospital care.

The charity offers accommodation, meals, and emotional support, helping families stay close during some of the most difficult times in their lives.

This year, 32 of our employees volunteered across four evenings — June, July, October and November – prepare and serve dinner for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House.

Each evening, the RMHC team provided a set menu for the volunteers to follow, and all the ingredients were pre-purchased and ready to use.

This made it easy for our team to focus on cooking and creating a warm, welcoming meal for the families.   This volunteering activity is something we proudly take part in every year.

It’s a meaningful way for us to give back to the community, connect as a team, and support families going through incredibly tough times.

We’re grateful for the opportunity and look forward to continuing this tradition.
