Omexom team walks tall with Connexis awards
The Connexis | Te Pūkenga Excellence Awards celebrate the best and brightest trainees working in the industry, along with those who have made significant contributions through their enthusiasm and commitment to industry training.
The Excellence Awards are held on the last day of Annual Connection, a unique three day event, bringing together #cable jointers, line mechanics and industry stakeholders from across New Zealand. The event consists of competitions and a suppliers expo. Presentations are made to the recipients of the Trainee Awards, along with the runners-up and winners of the Line Mechanic and Cable Jointer Competition.
This year, Omexom New Zealand is ecstatic to have come away with four awards:
– Best Competition Trainee – RAMFORD ZAMORA
– Mystery Event Team winner – OMEXOM
– Best Overall Team Spirt & Performance – OMEXOM
– Transmission Trainee of the Year – JOSHUA COX
Conditions were tough and the competition fierce, but our teammates went the hard yards and pushed through, bringing home some lovely prizes. As part of our push towards achieving the energy transition, we ensure our staff adhere to the strictest safety standards and are well-trained and therefore, well prepared.
